Part-Time Lecturer for KM6305 Knowledge Management Technologies
We are seeking a part time lecturer to teach the course, KM6305 Knowledge Management Technologies.
The course is offered in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information's MSc in Knowledge Management (MSc KM) programme. KM6305 provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to assessing organisational and technological readiness to implement knowledge management. This will help students to develop a KM infrastructure and architecture that is AI-ready. Students will learn how to select and evaluate KM tools including content management, business intelligence, large language models, mind mapping and idea processors, taxonomy builders, enterprise knowledge portals, collaboration, learning systems.
The preferred candidate should have either experience teaching at the graduate/undergraduate level or relevant industry experience and have knowledge of the topics covered in the course. The course format consists of a three-hour weekly session that comprises lectures, tutorials and/or seminar discussions. The instructor will be responsible for leading each three-hour session in addition to syllabus planning, class preparation, marking for assessment and student consultation.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher; a PhD holder is preferred.
- Background in computer science, information systems, information science, or related discipline is strongly preferred.
